The Bradley Revit-BIM library is currently created and saved in a Revit MEP 2009 format.
Bradley Revit families are designed to be used in BOTH Revit Architecture and Revit MEP.
Bradley continually runs tests to verify the updating processes of our Revit library of 1000+ Revit families to Revit 2011, Revit 2012 and Revit 2013.
Recommended Update Procedure:
A standard Revit “best practice” recommends that we save an older version of a Revit family (2009) to our Revit family project version (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013); BEFORE we insert the family into a newer Revit project.
- Download a Bradley Revit family to a folder on your computer.
- Open the downloaded family with your project’s Revit version.
- Save the family using the Revit version of the project.
- Once the Revit family has been saved, you can load (push or pull) the family into your Revit project.
